Jerome Fire’s up the Grand Prix Ball in London
Jerome d’Ambrosio lit up the tyres of his Lotus F1 car last night in the grounds of the Hurlingham Club, as a precursor to the Grand Prix Ball. London’s only chance to see a live F1 demo prior to Silverstone this weekend, the invited guests lined the route as Jerome showcased his moves donuting and spinning the wheels, before the car played the national anthem on the engine to usher the guests into dinner. Guest that walked down the red carpet included Hollywood actor and mate of Bernie’s, Liam Cunningham, Eddie Jordan, and headline for the evening Sophie Ellis Bextor. The evening was held in aid of CLIC Sargent, with the money now raised over the last year years smashing through the £100,000 mark.
The evening events will be shown this evening on Sky’s F1 Show,
Jonny Dodge CEO of GP Management organisers of the Grand Prix Ball said
“This as been our biggest year to date raising our most money ever for CLIC Sargent, and what better way to top of the night than with Lotus F1 Team and Jerome doing their amazing showcase for the guests”
